For years, Trump has peddled this great big lie that he’s valiantly ridding our country of “Bad Hombres.” You know, these highly dangerous “illegals,” most of them immigrants from Mexico (or other “shit hole countries”) who “bring crime” here and are nothing but a bunch of “drug lords” and “rapists.” Now, if you’ve been paying attention, and know what “MAGA” really stands for – “Making America Hate Again” – you already know, this isn’t true.
Trump himself has made it really easy for us to figure that out. He’s repeatedly decried the lack of immigrants to the U.S. from “nice countries,” i.e. rich, majority-white ones like “Denmark or Switzerland.” And he recently offered, very generously, to rehouse white South Africans “as refugees fleeing persecution.” In his eyes, white South Africans, a minority in their country, are “victims of unjust racial discrimination,” and he wants to kindly take them in. In South Africa, his offer was swiftly called out as “ridiculous and lame.” (And unsurprisingly, most people there laughed it off with a hard “no, thanks.”)
Meanwhile in the U.S., Trump and his “Border Czar” are busy terrorizing hardworking people of color. Last month, heavily armed ICE agents raided a Newark fish market and dragged Latino employees without criminal records away. And Tuesday, the Turkish owners of “Jersey Kebab,” a longstanding restaurant in Haddon Township were also detained.
Still, if you somehow have any lingering doubts about whether Trump’s “Bad Hombres” schtick is based on anything other than his own “unjust racial discrimination,” then let me tell you about two fair-skinned “Bad Hombres” he just let into the country: Andrew and Tristan Tate.
Yeah, that’s right. The controversial influencer brothers, who are biracial but white passing, and who are more importantly facing charges in Romania, including human trafficking and rape, are back in the U.S. – via Florida no less – after a travel ban on them was recently lifted.
Trump’s involvement, or the White House’s for that matter, in this development hasn’t yet been verified. But Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis told NBC News “rebuffing” the brothers’ entry into the U.S. was under the federal government’s jurisdiction. Again, these are men who are facing a laundry list of very serious charges, the trafficking of minors, sex with a minor, and money laundering, just to name a few. (Aside from the charges in Romania, both Tates, dual citizens of the U.S. and the U.K, are also facing an arrest warrant for sexual aggression in England.)
Let’s just say, if they were “aliens” here, they’d star in an “ASMR” video on the White House’s Instagram, chained and shackled, before getting the boot to Guantanamo Bay. Again, it hasn’t been verified at this time, but I’m willing to bet my life’s savings that Trump had everything to do with bringing these repulsive, misogynistic bros “back home.” And if not, he has the power to stop it, but we all know he won’t.
C’mon now, all three men are essentially in the same line of work. (“MAGA” remember?) Plus, are criminals truly criminals if they’re not also brown? As Trump loves to say these days, use your “common sense” people. If you do, you’ll quickly conclude that in America, “Bad Hombres” are wholeheartedly welcome – just as long as they’re MAGA.
Editor’s note: This story and headline were updated on Feb. 28 to include the fact that the Tate brothers are biracial.
