The Eagles continued to piece together their replacements for their coaching staff losses Friday with the hiring of Scot Loeffler as their quarterbacks coach. The news was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. He will be Jalen Hurts' third different position coach in as many seasons and his fourth in five seasons with the team.
Loeffler spent the last six seasons as the head coach at Bowling Green State University, compiling a 27-41 record, including a 7-6 record in 2024. The Falcons lost bowl games in each of the last three seasons.
