Elliot Lurie is coming back to New Brunswick – and he’s bringing “Brandy” with him.

Lurie was the songwriter, guitarist and co-lead singer of the New Brunswick-based band Looking Glass, which scored a hit in 1972 with the swooning rocker “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl),” topping the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. He returns to the city on Saturday, March 8 to perform with the Yacht Rock Gold Experience at the State Theatre.
