New Jersey’s vibrant music and arts festival North to Shore is back for its third year.

After two successful events in 2023 and 2024, the lineup for the enormous music and comedy fest was announced Tuesday during a press conference at Newark’s Prudential Hall where festival organizers, politicians and fans gathered.

North to Shore 2025 will run from June 14 through June 29 and take place in Atlantic City, Asbury Park and Newark.

The festival will include performances from acts like Bleachers, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Jon Stewart, John Mulaney and Pete Davidson, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Jack’s Manequinn, Stone Temple Pilots and more.

North to Shore, which organizers call “the festival only Jersey can handle,” was brought about by Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy. Newark-based Prudential Financial is returning as the lead sponsor.

“Now for a third summer, we can come together again to celebrate the qualities that make New Jersey an epicenter for diversity, creativity, and innovation,” Murphy said Tuesday. “Prudential North to Shore is more than a festival — it’s a showcase of everything that makes this state unique, welcoming, and an ideal stage for talent and the arts.”

For two consecutive weeks, musical and comedy acts will perform at venues across Asbury Park and Newark while free community events will be held as well.

Two of the most anticipated events will be Hot 97 Summer Jam on June 20 and Rock The Bells on June 28 — with both held at Prudential Center in Newark.

“Newark is long known to be a powerhouse of creativity, teeming with artistic expression — and exactly the kind of city perfect for hosting Prudential North to Shore,” Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka said. “I am so excited about the incredible lineup coming here this year, and I look forward to celebrating this festival with neighbors who already love our city and visitors who soon will!”

North to Shore is collaborating with advisory groups in Atlantic City, Asbury Park and Newark again this year to provide community arts awards. The festival will reward local artists, arts organizations, nonprofits and small businesses with up to $10,000 each to produce performing and visual arts events. Select winners will be chosen to perform as opening acts for headliners.
