They both grew up in Paulsboro, an aging industrial town across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. They competed on the prestigious Paulsboro High School wrestling team, the pride of the borough, with a statewide reputation. Both have worked more than three decades in Paulsboro public schools, as teachers, counselors and administrators.
