N.J. home values increased in all 21 counties, data shows

Home values in every New Jersey county increased in December compared to the same time in the prior year, according to the latest figures from Zillow.

Over half of New Jersey’s 21 counties saw home values that sat at over $500K in December. Cape May, Bergen and Monmouth counties topped the list with home values over $700K.

In December, Cumberland County had the lowest home values at $252,176.

According to a recent Redfin report, home prices increased nationwide and are likely to continue to rise.

In the report, Sheharyar Bokhari, senior economist at Redfin, said, “Prices will continue to rise consistently because it’s unlikely there will be enough new inventory to meet buyer demand.”
