NJ Transit launches plan to improve commuter experience

Commuters will start seeing cleaner, more secure major rail terminals and get better information under a plan announced by NJ Transit’s CEO on Thursday.

The three-part program announced Thursday is among priorities Kolluri listed earlier this month. Better information for passengers and station cleanliness are two of them.

The program kicked off with a press event in Newark Penn Station Thursday, with Kolluri flanked by NJ Transit employees in bright orange and yellow shirts and vests to announce stepped up customer care and station care initiatives.
