This coastal contemporary home with it’s cottage look, soaring ceilings and modern finishes flew off the market.
In just two days, 160 people attended an open house and 15 more had private showings.
“We got offers that weekend,” said Stephanie Liskowitz of Keller Williams Realty Spring Lake, the listing agent. “And we accepted an offer a couple days later.”
The 2,380-square-foot home in Brielle, with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, was listed for $1,399,000.
The median sales price of a home in Brielle was $1.65 million in January, according to the most recent data available from New Jersey Realtors.
“This is really unique in this area,” she said. “There are not a lot of contemporary homes.”
The two story home has soaring ceilings in the open concept living, dining room and kitchen and light hardwood floors. There is a coffee nook and a wet bar off the kitchen, two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the first floor.
A floating staircase leads to the second floor where there is the primary suite and an elevated loft space.
“The glass loft is really unique,” she said. “The stairwell leading to the second floor master, the railings are custom. They’re more than architectural, they’re almost like an art statement.”
The third full bathroom is outside off the patio cabana, beside a heated, saltwater in-ground pool.
People who toured the home liked the “use of the space, how open the space was, the finishes, the natural light and the backyard,” Liskowitz said.
The home is located close to downtown Manasquan and the beach.
“It’s a quieter neighborhood,” she said. “A little off the beaten path. It’s in a sweet spot where you can walk to downtown and use a golf cart to get to the beach.”
