Starbucks is retiring its less popular beverages in a menu overhaul that is set to come in March.
The company’s new CEO, Brian Niccol, made some changes that he claims will help the coffee chain return to its roots.
The latest change Niccol seeks to make includes streamlining Starbucks' menu offerings, resulting in a 30% reduction in food and beverage offerings by the end of this fiscal year.
Starting March 4, some of the chain’s “less popular” beverage items will be removed from the menu because they were either difficult to make, not commonly purchased or similar to other menu items.
Here’s the full list of beverages that are going to be cut from the menu, according to USA Today:
- Espresso Frappuccino
- Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino
- Java Chip Frappuccino
- White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino
- Chai Creme Frappuccino
- Caramel Ribbon Crunch Creme Frappuccino
- Double Chocolaty Chip Creme Frappuccino
- Chocolate Cookie Crumble Creme Frappuccino
- White Chocolate Creme Frappuccino
- White Hot Chocolate
- Royal English Breakfast Latte
- Iced Matcha Lemonade
- Honey Almondmilk Flat White
Niccol also reversed the “open door policy” that allowed non-customers to use its restrooms in June 2025 as part of these updates.
