Summit Free Market set for Saturday

The City of Summit is holding a Summit Free Market event on Saturday, March 8.

Summit holds free market events on the second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the City of Summit Transfer Station located at 40 New Providence Ave.

At these events, Summit residents can donate unwanted items in good condition and browse other donated items for free. Visitors will have 60 minutes to peruse the offerings at each event. The city asks that no unsorted boxes or bags be brought for donation. For donation guidelines, click here.

A Summit resident permit is required to enter the Transfer Station facility and for other resident-only services like parking on certain levels in the Broad Street garage and other resident-only lots. Summit residents can obtain a permit online or in person at the Parking Services Agency at City Hall on 512 Springfield Avenue.
