Depending on the destination, parking at the Jersey Shore is less of a chore thanks to smartphone apps used by some towns.

Regardless of whether you’re day tripping or booked a weeks stay at the Shore, the issue of parking and paying for it is going to come up.

The good news is I went through Shore town websites and parking listings, and yes, even some local parking ordinances, so you don’t have to. Few things are more frustrating than trying to determine and interpret the myriad of local parking regulations and payment systems in the street, while the beach is beckoning.
