Wrestling fans won’t forget the 2025 postseason anytime soon.
Anthony Knox, the best wrestler in the state this season — and arguably the best wrestlers New Jersey has ever seen — saw his hopes of a fourth straight state title dashed on Tuesday when he was disqualified from the remainder of the tournament for his involvement in a melee in the bleachers at District 25 in Collingswood on Saturday night.
And now, we’re all Weighing In.
On this week’s episode, our four wrestling reporters — Ryan Patti, Jake Aferiat, Bill Evans and Joe Zedalis — give their thoughts on the historic DQ and what that suddenly means for the 126-pound weight class.
On top of that, we’re recapping the other big stories from districts, talk about how to possibly fix the entire district set up and preview the region tournament slated for this weekend.
One more week until Atlantic City.
