West Essex competed in the NJSIAA/IBEW Local 102 Region 1 Tournament these last two days for the first time in the Mike Markey era.
It was unfamiliar territory for the Knights, but they advanced four to next week’s action in Atlantic City and soaked in the competition in West Milford.
