The Nintendo Switch 2 is on the way this year, and fans are hoping to get their hands on the latest model.

Just like Nintendo has not yet announced the release date and retail price, the video game company hasn’t revealed where it will sell the new console. But it does look like GameStop and Best Buy will be the first stores where you can preorder the Nintendo Switch 2.

However, fans vying for the highly anticipated new console can expect that the Nintendo Switch 2 will most likely be available to purchase at all major retailers, just like the Nintendo Switch 1 (currently $20 off at Amazon).

If you’re planning to get your own Nintendo Switch 2 once it’s available to purchase, there are several retailers to keep tabs on for potential product listings. These include all of the stores where you can buy the Nintendo Switch 1, OLED, and Lite.

Where can I buy the Nintendo Switch 2?

Here’s where you will most likely be able to buy the Nintendo Switch 2 once it drops later this year:

Nintendo Switch 2’s enhanced features

The Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to arrive with upgraded features, like an overall bigger size with a larger LCD touchscreen, Joy-Con controllers, and a kickstand. It will be backward compatible so current Nintendo Switch 1 owners can play most of their own games when they upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2.

Plus, if recent leaks are accurate, the Nintendo Switch 2 will have a more powerful CPU and GPU on par with the Xbox Series S/X and the PlayStation 5 for an enhanced gaming experience. This may ultimately jack up the price of the Nintendo Switch 2, which is currently $300 for the original version.
