Bridgeton baseball coach Mike Valella is as dedicated as they come.
About to enter his 23rd season, the 1994 Schalick graduate has never had a winning season. His best year was his first year, going 8-12 back in 2003. His 2004 team also won eight games, but none have won more than six since.
Yet, if you asked anyone in the South Jersey baseball community, they’d say the same thing.
Mike Valella can coach.
Valella loves being a baseball coach. He especially loves being the Bridgeton baseball coach. Wins and losses are just numbers in the end, it’s his philosophy and approach to the game that has always made him a winner.
Check out the video clip below and you’ll see just why Mike Valella is appreciated in the baseball community for everything he’s done and continues to do for the kids in Bridgeton.
