Natalie Portman is starring in Lena Dunham’s upcoming romantic comedy film “Good Sex.”

Deadline reports that Netflix is picking up the movie and that the production is looking to film in New Jersey.

Golden Globe winner Dunham, 38, creator of the HBO series “Girls,” wrote the script and will direct the film.

Both Dunham and Oscar winner Portman (“Black Swan”), 43, are producing.

Per the report, Portman will play Ally, a New York couples therapist who leaves a dying long-term relationship to start dating again.

She makes a connection with a younger man and meets an older man at the same time.

Netflix is reportedly shelling out somewhere around $55 million for the film.

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority tells NJ Advance Media it does not have any information yet on the production filming in New Jersey.

Dunham, who wrote and starred in the Emmy-winning “Girls,” appeared in the 2024 film “Treasure,” while Portman starred in the 2024 Apple TV+ limited series “Lady in the Lake.” Newly minted Oscar winner Mikey Madison, who won best actress for “Anora” Sunday, was one of Portman’s co-stars in the show.

Portman also starred with Julianne Moore and Charles Melton in the 2023 Todd Haynes Netflix movie “May December‚" a film about a couple with a significant age gap who met when the man (Melton) was a 13-year-old child and the woman (Moore) was 36. Portman plays an actor who meets with them to play Moore’s character in a movie.
