Joe Zedalis is in his 47th year covering high school sports. A graduate of Jackson Memorial High School and Ocean County College, Zedalis worked at the Lakewood Daily Times, the Daily Observer in Toms River, Asbury Park Press, Yahoo and Trenton Times before joining NJ.com. He served as the Media Coordinator at the NJSIAA Wrestling Championships for 28 years and is a member of the Region 6 Hall of Fame. He was also the co-power points coordinator in football for the NJSIAA for 19 years. While his focus as been on high school sports for most of his career, he has also covered Rutgers University football, MLB and NBA. Joe has three daughters, a son and two grandsons.
