“The Bachelorette” alum Gabby Windey and comedian Robby Hoffman confirmed that they secretly got married in January.
“We had just evacuated from the fires [in L.A.]. Literally cue Rihanna, ‘We found love in a hopeless place,’” Windey told Cosmopolitan in a joint interview with Hoffman published on Wednesday, March 5. “What better time to get married than right now? Because if the world is ending, we want to be with each other.”
After having a hard time finding a hotel with vacancies in their neck of the woods, the couple ended up in a penthouse suite in Las Vegas.
“It looked like a wedding suite,” Hoffman recalled. “Gabby turned to me and she went, ‘Should we get married?’ And look, I’ve been proposing since the day I met her.”
Windey joked that the timing was “giving Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey when they divorced and came back together after 9/11.”
Despite the impromptu nature of the wedding, Windey still wanted a proper proposal, and luckily, Hoffman already had a plan.
“I had a friend make a crossword. I gave him the clues and the answers, and I said it had to say, ‘WILL YOU MARRY ME, GABBY,’” Hoffman shared.
Windey said yes, and the twosome’s intimate wedding set them back just $799.
“That included the limousine. That included the photos. That included the minister,” Hoffman said, noting that she and Windey tied the knot at the same Las Vegas chapel where Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker exchanged vows. They walked down the aisle to Chappell Roan’s “Hot to Go!”

“It was literally the best night of my life,” Windey said. “I just love being with Robby, so knowing that I got her one-on-one to celebrate this beautiful night, I could cry. It was joy.”
Windey previously got engaged to Erich Schwer during season 19 of “The Bachelorette” in 2022, but the duo split later that year. Windey, who is currently on season 3 of “The Traitors,” debuted her relationship with Hoffman in August 2023.
“It’s hard to get it out all right now, but I know everyone’s been really curious about who I’m dating,” the reality star said in an Instagram Story video at the time. “You know I love to stir the pot and tease, but I did want to wait until I was ready, because it is a larger conversation — because I’m dating a girl.”
Windey then shared several PDA pics of her and Hoffman to her Instagram grid, writing, “Told you I’m a girl’s girl!!”
